About Us

		Nigel Bowman qualified as a solicitor in 1989 and has been practicing family law ever since. Nigel began to specialise solely in family law in 2000. He has dealt with all types of family cases including divorce, care proceedings and contact and residence. Nigel is a member of the Law Society's Children Panel.
		Liz Bond is the firm’s consultant. She has over 20 years post qualification experience in family law. Liz is a member of the Law Society's Children Panel and specialises in complex care proceedings and contact and adoption disputes. Liz has obtained the advocates Higher Rights of Audience (Civil). She also has a part time judicial post hearing all types of family cases.
		Claire Burns is our assistant solicitor, she qualified in 2004. For the last 4 years she has been dealing with all types of family cases including divorce, care proceedings, residence and contact disputes and injunctions to protect clients who have been subjected to domestic violence.
	Sue Pitchford and Sarah Lang are our administrative support and reception team. Sue provides secretarial support for Liz Bond and Claire Burns. Sue has worked for Liz for the last 6 years. Sarah is Nigel Bowman's secretary and has worked for him since 2003.
